Before Dublin was established, there were native tribes in the area: The Adenas and The Hopewells were two of the first Native American Tribes in the Dublin area. Then, The Shawnee, Mingo, Seneca, Delaware, and Wyandot tribes moved in. Leatherlips (above) was the Cheif of the Wyandot Indians. Once all the native tribes fled, people from Pennsylvania started arriving in Ohio by using the Ohio River as a "Highway" for transportation. Soon later, the Sells brothers bought land along the Scioto River.
